Add ICMAI's own fees, exam fees per attempt, and coaching at each stage, and the honest CMA course fees with coaching total is usually ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.3 lakh across the whole path.
Why the total cost is rarely quoted upfront
CMA fees get confusing fast, and this is why:
- ●Registration and coaching are billed separately. ICMAI's own fee is one payment. Coaching, if you take it, is a different payment to a different provider.
- ●Exam fees repeat. You pay an exam fee each time you sit a paper, not once per level.
- ●Foundation coaching is optional. Some students skip it and self-study, which changes the total a lot.
- ●Group choices affect the bill. Paying for one group at a time, versus both together, changes the coaching quote you get.
This is exactly why a single "CMA course fees" number is hard to find — the real number depends on choices you make along the way.
CMA eligibility after 12th: any stream welcome
A common myth stops students before they start: that CMA is only for Commerce students. It is not. CMA eligibility after 12th is open to any stream — Commerce, Science, or Arts. You can register for CMA Foundation right after Class 12, whatever you studied. This is CMA's biggest practical difference from CA, which is Commerce-only.
Who this locks out
